About Ottawa Indigenous Public Art

Public art is an opportunity for showcase Indigenous art and culture. The City of Ottawa Public Art Program encourages Indigenous artists to participate. The City has confirmed $11 million as part of the public art program. Public art reflects a diversity of artistic expressions: sculpture, traditional arts, visual, carving, photography, beadwork, video, etc.

The City of Ottawa will be announcing its plans for future public art projects. The Stage 2 LRT program envisions an artist collaborative to work together around a theme or expression.
